I'm open for business.
I realize that to economically survive doing Substack full time, I need to diversify my revenue outside of just subscriptions. I don’t personally feel comfortable 🔒 locking too many of my posts (yet?).
I will never include Sponsored Ads in paid posts.
I only work with brands highly aligned (sorry, I’m a bit picky!) to what I am doing and startups that are doing something very related to my topics here.

My A.I. Newsletter is the #1 ranked Substack in machine learning category (unlisted), after just four months. I will hit 3,000 free subs in just 120 days of writing (now 3,500 in June) without using Ads, having an email list previously or having a funnel.
My A.I. Newsletter caters to A.I. enthusiasts with a high number of software engineers, founders, venture capital folk and angel investors, data science students and professionals in technology. I know this because I reverse check their emails with their LinkedIn accounts.
With 200,000 + LinkedIn followers, a fair number of CEOs, managers and C-suite professionals also subscribe to some of my Newsletters. This means that my Newsletter has some good exposure for B2B startups and a wide variety of those that work with data, analytics, NLP, and even Ad-tech related to A.I.
I publish it at least four times a week and it features both longform op-eds, paper summaries, trend analysis, breaking news, case studies and industry analysis.

My articles sometimes trend on Reddit, Hacker News and other places like Facebook Groups, specialized discords, and, very rarely, Twitter.
I’m ultra active on LinkedIn. (where I have an A.I. Report Newsletter with 209,000 followers).
Of those, I typically get 30,000 “views” an article and a small handful of engagements and comments.
My personal brand on LinkedIn also has 208,000 followers that are less targeted to the topic.
I have a limited presence on Twitter, Reddit and other networks.
I also offer to manage the LinkedIn of brands since my 10+ years of experience on the platform and following, and creative ideas can help you grow your brand following and impressions there faster.
Every newsletter on Substack or LinkedIn (separate deals or bundled) will have a maximum of one sponsor. (You won’t be competing with anyone else and will be prominently featured near the beginning).
Your sponsored post will typically be near the beginning of the Newsletter for maximum impact and eyeballs. You’ll be responsible for writing the copy, giving me a small image (if desired) and a link (also if desired), and it’ll be subject to my approval.
What you’ll get:
A headline with a maximum of 80 characters
The main message with a maximum of 200 words
One hyperlink + a small image (or two hyperlinks).
Furthermore, I will match your Sponsored Ad (and startup) with the right kind of article for maximum synergy of topic and solution. In rare instances, I might even write about something more related to your business vertical if the opportunity arises.
BONUS: Your ad will live on the article in perpetuity. Why does this matter? Because at least 50% of my web visits come from Google, my articles tend to have above-average long-tail search potential. So obviously, once the article is indexed in search engines your ad will continue to be exposed to users long after it ran in the newsletter.
I will typically send you an invoice in the three weeks following or end of the month when it first appeared.
Please note that the price will go up as my audience grows, so it benefits you to book sponsorships far in advance.

Typically you will send me the copy and image and hyperlinks in a Google doc or email, and I will use the comment section there if needed.
⭐️ If we work well together and you want me to profile your startup as a stand-alone piece we can also discuss that on rare occasions. For instance, when you get funding or have some special PR announcement.
